Distribution:
At the type locality, about 180 m; exposed east of M'Clintock Inlet and in vicinity of Piper Pass.

Lithology:
At the type locality, mainly limestone, minor sandy limestone and calcareous sandstone; at Piper Pass, northern Ellesmere Island, argillaceous limestone, and dolostone.

Relationship:
Underlain and overlain by unnamed clastic units; both contacts conformable.
