Type Locality:
West of M'Clintock Inlet, northern Ellesmere Island.

Distribution:
A thickness of 230 m was measured, but this may be a minimum and the thickness be considerably greater; exposed in vicinity of M'Clintock Inlet and Disraeli Fiord.

Thickness(m): Minimum 230.

Lithology:
Siltstone, sandstone, conglomerate, slate and limestone, with many red beds.

Relationship:
Overlies Ayles Formation, underlies Zebra Cliffs Formation; both contacts apparently conformable at type section, but lower contact probably disconformable locally.
